That sounds very much like an excuse, which is totally unacceptable.

I think we'll be good. I expect to get a little better every year that Coach Brady is here. He's really a good coach and I think the players know that. At least the ones with any sense.

And like Seminole Indian said, winning in baseball in the Belt is so much more difficult than basketball or football.

Which I never disputed.

huh?

Sun Belt is the 5th or 6th best baseball league in the country...  its not an excuse its a fact.     Its also a fact that 3-4 teams a year play in the NCAA baseball tourney and there is no NIT...

Win the SBC basketball championship?   14 seed or so.   Must pull miracle first round upset

Win the SBC Baseball championship      Regional 1 or 2 seed.   Given good odds at making Super Regionals (Sweet 16)

Well I'm looking forward to men's basketball and baseball and think we have some very good coaches, and players.

Did not attend any football games last season and  will pass again this year so it is  a long time until November but hopefully worth the wait.

I love it when sometimes it's an excuse and other times it's a fact.

our football conference is pitiful though
our basketball conference is ehhhh
our baseball conference IS better than some 'BCS' conferences...that is a fact

saying we play nonconference games against 'unbeatable' teams is used as an excuse for us not getting to 7 wins when we have 8 sometimes 9 very winnable games
us playing like garbage on the road in football is a fact
our basketball team almost knocked off a perennial power in our conference with mainly freshman and first year D-1 guys, that's the reality

i don't really know where you're coming from with that statement

I think you guys spend to much time trying to compare our programs.  They are all Arkansas State Programs.  Just cheer for all of them.

I bet Brady's expectations just grew higher with the knowledge that Boone gets another year. And I find it funny that bigD complains about others looking for excuses for the baseball team when he is the queen of em all in covering for his GF Boyer.

Sometimes it's hard to tell with some of you guys.  I just hope that when you guys are in your 50's you are still cheering for the Red Wolves and all of our teams are competing for a crown each year.
