Hope you're right but he has two hurdles to overcome. The first, of course, is to be given another year by the NCAA. But he also has to be cleared medically, which the last I heard hasn't happened yet. Evidently his rehab hasn't progressed as quickly as they would have liked.

I talked to DeRay, and he has not heard anything from the NCAA or the coaches about his eligibility.  He sure wants one more year, and I hope he gets it.

When did you talk to him? I saw him Tuesday and he said everything was good for him to return this year.  He also said he didn't want to announce it to media yet.

Well, I messaged him on FB and he replied today with that info.    Myself, I'm hoping for the best, but expecting the worst....sort of like how I feel about this years football season  rolleyes
