ASU had a better RPI than LSU yet you put LSU at level 2?

LSU is a BCS/SEC team...and i like Trent Johnson...you could justify putting them in Level III, though.

Did not say he was a pain and it does appear that this was in fact just a grouping of teams by Drew that probably was intended as a putdown of ASU, based on the fact that he posted it here and the fact that he put LSU in Level II.

Good thing about Memphis and their Administration though, they make their teams back up their fans talk on the fields and courts when it comes to ASU. Fortunately for us their teams do not match their fans talk although they are  very good in basketball.

nope...i was just reading the CA article on our schedule...and i was considering how i would rank these teams...then i saw the ASU v. Memphis date so i thought i would pass it along...nothing more...nothing less.

and as i said...you could justify knocking LSU down to Level III.

You made your choice.

What were my choices again?  I might want to think about it some more.......

If you are honest about the criteria you used. You HAVE to put them in Level III whatever the hell that is.

Now if you say made the groupings based on RPI and how the average fan perceives them then hey knock yourself out.

LSU is pretty good. Seems like they made a Final Four a few years ago.

Seems they had a pretty good coach leading them too.

Yeah but then some sun belt school stole their coach and they hired a below average one from Stanford to replace him

ASU v. LSU would be a very interesting game this season.

you guys would have won by 5-6 points last season...

Hopefully the game between ASU and Memphis will be interesting this season . While your coach is taking a little heat about the schedule, he is trying to remind everyone that your team will be very young this season and ASU might be a pretty good team.

anytime you bring in 7 freshman...there are growing pains...the advantage is...these guys have played together in AAU ball...so they know each others style.

i think Josh put a cautious, yet ambitious schedule together.

I don't consider it a slight.

I would say that Drew's list that is "based on RPI but isn't" makes him well qualified for a number of jobs.

The only bad thing is very few of those openings are in Alaska or an island without internet access.

Now was the list flawed?  Probably............most of Drew's posts are.  Was it intentional?  No.  Was it disparaging?  No.
