Check that.  Hawaii is DEFINITELY an easier game.  They're awful.

A good friend of mine is one of the Assistant AD's at UCA. He told me that ASU has contacted UCA alot in the past month wanting to play a Home and Home with UCA. But he said that Corliss knows they will be bad this year and would rather start it next year at the earliest.

He called that puss Corliss out this morning. He said he had been talking to UCA's AD and old coach about starting a home and home series. He called Sidney Moncrief Jr, I mean Corliss Williamson, as soon as he got the job, and said Corliss told him he didnt want to play ASU.

The state of Arkansas blows my mind.

That makes sense They play OK, OK State and others and that is the excuse not to play ASU? If you're going to be horrible what does it matter? Why is ASU contacting UCA after seeing that dismal record last year anyway? Easy win? In-state rep? I think ASU can schedule someone with a better basketball rep than UCA, draw a good crowd and get a nice check. Beating the bears isn't that high on anyone's list..nor is it too difficult.

I would rather play UAPB. At least they went to the tourny last year.

Umm...UCA wasn't eligible due to their last season of transition. This year will be their first chance at making the tourney.

Im all for it.  As long as its in Jonesboro only.    We have no business playing at SWAC schools  a loss kills our RPI and games at SWAC schools are often played 5 on 8

Here's the reason problem, NO ONE wants to come here next yr.  Coach Brady is trying his best to get good games with one and one, but no one wants any part of it.   They all know we are going to be real good next yr and the next yr.  I am sure if the shoe was on our foot we would not to play them and get kicked, Brady does know how to sehedule for sure.   I speak with him a lots and he CANNOT get any one to do home and home, but we really need home games for next yr.

to make matters worse.  Arkansas is still looking for a home and home as well  but no dice from them either
