Bet that makes LA Tech feel good. Boise was the only thing they had going for them.

I think this is when you make a run at La. Tech, quick. They've already been exploring the Sun Belt as an option. Kill off the WAC.

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncaa/news/story?id=5276064WAC Commish says that if they expand, they have their eyes on 5 or 6 FCS schools.

man it would have been great had FAMU joined...fantastic band!
Mo State would be nice and all those Southland Texas schools rumored to join would be interesting...and think i saw Ga State, Ga Souther, and Appy St in on that too? Fun Conference

Read some stuff on La. Tech's board and honestly, there is not a more arrogant group of fans with delusions of grandeur in the world. I know they hate ULM, but I can't think of anything that La. Tech and Ruston offer that most of the Sun Belt teams don't offer and they sure aren't any better on the field.
Is it all just posturing towards ULM because they La. Tech fans have self issues? Is it because LSU dominates their state? I spent an night in Ruston a couple of years ago and Jonesboro has far more to offer than that place. Their campus was nothing spectacular either.

I read their board last night. Highly amusing. They're nothing more than a Chihuahua, with a Bulldog bark.

LATech fans are talking about trying to get into the SEC or another BCS conference I don't think they would be too thrilled about moving from the WAC to the Sunbelt (although in my opinion it would be a lateral move, and would solve their travel issues).

It's pure arrogance related to ULM. Nobody cares about playing Utah St., NMSU or Nevada and their fans have zero opportunities to travel to see them play conference games. It really has to suck when it comes to all the other sports and their fans. If they are that great, why not come in and "dominate" the Belt while having to travel short distances to UNT, ULM, ULL, ASU, USA, etc. and build your infrastructure. I saw recently that they were like two spots ahead of ASU in revenue last year and with thier bills, that ain't good.
